Pride In The Square
The Pride Party is back and bigger than ever! Pride in the Square is a two day event on the 24th and 25th of February. In partnership with Auckland Live’s Summer in the Square we are bringing you a bolder, brighter, queerer community party to send off the Pride Festival for 2023. Jason Parker will be opening for the iconic South Auckland Takatāpui Rock Band Valkyrie will be bringing their iconic songs to the main stage as our Headliner for Saturday the 25th.
With our event spread across two days, we have more opportunities for you to engage with this celebration of queer joy! Each evening will host a variety of artists and musicians all to be announced very soon. And on Saturday the 25th we will have some afternoon events for rainbow families and rangatahi.
Pride Picnic - Waiheke Island
Bring your pals and whānau to the Artworks Courtyard for live music, drag acts, interactive art zones by Junk to Funk, DJs and the main event: the transformation of six well-known locals into drag queens and kings!
